About the Founder

I am a high school student at Paradise Valley High School, and I was diagnosed with permanent hearing loss at birth. Growing up with hearing loss was a great challenge, but through perseverance, support, and early intervention, I learned to adapt to it. Looking back, I thought about how lucky I was that my parents had intervened early and got me the support I needed right away. That is why I created AudireAware. My mission is to raise awareness about childhood hearing loss and help parents recognize the importance of early detection. Every child deserves the same opportunities no matter what kind of impairment they have. Through AudireAware, I hope to help children with hearing loss receive the support they need and have the same opportunities to learn, communicate, and succeed as every other child.
